Plastic Casing For Sausage

The Plastic Casing supplied by Tipack® is also called sausage casing, also known as sausage skin or simply casing, which is the material for wrapping sausage stuffing. Tipack can supply three types of natural casings, artificial casings and plastic casings.

Natural casings are made of animal intestines or skin and can be eaten;

artificial casings are made of collagen and cellulose and can also be eaten;

plastic casings are generally made of Polyamide (PA) or PVDC material, which is a Co-extrusion Plastic Casing, plastic casings are not edible.

The materials are formed through a continuous extrusion process - producing a sausage casing of indeterminate length - and then cut to the desired length, usually while the extrusion process continues. Can also be printed automatically with a pattern--Printed Casing Bag.
